London Fashion Weekend, the biannual fashion event that occurs around London’s Fashion Week has moved its location to the Saatchi Gallery in Duke of York Square.
British Fashion Council runs the weekend every February and September to showcase British and international fashion brands. The new location will add a different element to the 30th edition of this event.
Celebrating everyone
At BFC’s biannual event, experts in the fashion industry gather for discussions, shop, see collections and more. The weekend interacts with 32,000 visitors a year and offers a glimpse into an industry that employs 800,000 individuals in the United Kingdom.
Discussions with fashion editors, stylists and designers will offer insight to the industry and glimpses at trends, and designer catwalks as well as exclusive prices at pop-up shops allow brands to be on display.
London Fashion Weekend for 2015 is scheduled for September 24–27. Tickets will become available as of May 12.
Sponsors of the weekend include Marks & Spencer, The May Fair Hotel, Maybelline New York, Swatch and others.
New York Fashion Week has also announced its plans to move to new locations, after years at Lincoln Center and Bryant Park (see story).
