Danish jeweler Georg Jensen is honoring women making a positive impact in the world by sponsoring the seventh annual Women of Style Awards presented by InStyle Australia and automaker Audi.

The awards aim to find high achieving women in art, beauty, business, charity, entertainment, fashion, lifestyle or science, asking consumers to nominate innovators and role models for the title. For both of these brands, this sponsorship enables them to reach female consumers, while promoting their own community-focused values.

Among the judges for the awards are Audi Australia corporate communications general manager Anna Burgdorf, actress Nicole Kidman, film director Gillian Armstrong and environmental campaigner Layne Beachley.

On InStyle’s content pages surrounding the awards are ads from both Audi and Georg Jensen, raising awareness for their roles within the event.

Audi’s ads tout the “visionary” qualities of its new TT vehicle, while George Jensen’s banner invites consumers to shop its Fusion collection online with images of a model against a painted background.

On social media, Georg Jensen is also celebrating its participation, showing a photo of lifestyle nominee Silvia Colloca wearing its Grape collection.

The event will take place May 13.

Other jewelers have released efforts that celebrate females' voices.

De Beers, the “jeweler of light,” is illuminating women’s causes through a portrait series that highlights the talents and achievements of five women across various industries.

Photographed by Mary McCartney, “Moments in Light” works to capture the “brilliance” of these women just as De Beers aims to “honor the light” of a diamond. By showing empowered, successful women in the Moments in Light”initiative, De Beers is underlining traits sought in potential consumers (see story).
