Fashion and design is colliding on London’s Regent Street with a month-long invitation to meet the creative and design talents that call the high street home.
For the month of September, consumers are invited to drop by Regent Street to enjoy free and ticketed events such as seminars and master classes that allow attendees to “get in the spirit of fashion,” meet experts and get an insider’s guide to the industry during Regent Street Fashion and Design Month. Around the world, international high streets host curated events to propel the wares of tenants as a way to boost foot traffic and consumer engagement.

During Regent Street Fashion and Design Month, the first of its kind, consumers will have the opportunity to attend fashion events. One stand-out event is held at Karl Lagerfeld’s namesake brand store Sept. 24 where attendees can preview and purchase limited-edition items.
Other events include a free viewing of Burberry’s live stream of the British label’s London Fashion Week runway presentation at the Regent Street store on Sept. 1.
Later on in the month on Sept. 10, consumers can join the fun for “Vogue Loves Regent Street,” a celebration of Regent Street retailers and Conde Nast’s British Vogue magazine (see story).

Additionally, talks and masterclasses will focus on styling tips for the fall/winter 2015 season, a discussion on the history of the British staple, the trench coat, and a floral arrangement class hosted by florist Moyses Stevens, which includes a complimentary limited-edition fashion bouquet. The program also includes art gallery viewings.
During the month-long event, the annual Royal Institute of British Architects’ Regent Street Windows Projects will return. The 13 RIBA architects will team with top Regent Street retailers, such as Longchamp, to create inspiring, architectural window displays from Sept. 7-27.
Eateries found on Regent Street are also joining in with limited fashion- and design-themed menus and cocktails by Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen, Aubaine and Piccolino’s and Le Meridien Piccadilly. Attendees can also sit in on Momo’s Lounes Mazouz masterclass Sept. 8 on food presentation tips.
The famed shopping street in London is home to luxury brands such as Burberry, Longchamp, Penhaligon’s and Ted Baker, among others as well as The Langham Hotel.
