Italy’s Missoni Home is bringing its colorful Italian style to the French Riviera as The Byblos Hôtel in Saint-Tropez celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Opened on May 27, 1967, The Byblos is a 5-star hotel known for its colorful exterior and elite guests. To celebrate its milestone anniversary, and all the revelers who have stayed within its rooms, The Byblos worked with Missoni Home’s Rosita Missoni to outfit a colorful suite.
Colors of the French Riviera
Drawing inspiration from the colors of the surrounding French Riviera, Ms. Missoni added her personal aesthetic and touch to the suite project.
Ms. Missoni and The Byblos’ owners, the Chevannes, share a common joy in family get-togethers and entertaining as two family-owned brands.
The Missoni suite at The Byblos is decorated entirely with furniture and fabrics from the Missoni Home brand to create an “authentic joie de vivre in the Italian style.”
Working with the largest of The Byblos’ suites, Ms. Missoni handpicked iconic pieces from the Missoni Home collection such as the Cordula table and chairs, Inntil sofas, Daniela armchairs and Thea Kuta lamps.
The suite has been divided by a zig-zag fabric screen, designed exclusively by Ms. Missoni for the project, to create two environments.
Also, the bedrooms and bathrooms are stocked with Missoni Home linens and towels.

On the suite’s terrace, Ms. Missoni has decorated the outside space with the colorful Jalamar lounge chair and a Cordula table, designed specifically for outdoor living.
Missoni Home has also brought its Italian joie de vivre to the beaches of Miami.
The Missoni Baia, a 57-story luxury condominium tower, is located at 777 N.E. 26th Terrace, directly on the shore of Biscayne Bay. Developed by the OKO Group, the Missoni Baia tower is located in the up-and-coming Miami neighborhood of Edgewater.
Missoni’s first branded residences includes 146 multimillion dollar units with waterfront views.
The Italian brand has had a successful home interior line since 1981 and briefly outfitted a hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland until 2012, but the Missoni Baia tower is the brand’s first residential project (see story).
