Italian jewelry maison Bulgari tied its star-studded Save the Children charity campaign to a pre-Oscar soiree to heighten awareness for its cause.
To highlight its involvement in Save the Children, Bulgari hosted a “Stop. Think. Give.” gala event Feb. 18 and documented the occasion on its Instagram account. Using social media allows Bulgari enthusiasts to take part in the celebrity-attended event while also raising awareness for Save the Children’s mission.
A charitable night out
Since its founding, Save the Children, a nonprofit that works to better and save the lives of children in 120 countries, has raised more than $35 million.
Bulgari teased the Stop. Think. Give. charity event by sharing its campaign imagery for its work with Save the Children. The shared image features four celebrities, Meg Ryan, Alexander Ludwig, Adrian Brody and Jeremy Renner, all of whom have on Bulgari’s Bzero1 rings (see story).
Bulgari's Save the Children campaign
Held in Los Angeles, the Pre-Oscar event was attended by celebrities including the aforementioned actors as well as Jeremy Piven, Camilla Belle, Naomi Watts and Billy Zane, among others.
By sharing images from the party, Bulgari aligns further with its celebrity ambassadors as well as creating an opportunity for donations to be raised for Save the Children. Bulgari posted a series of images of attendees at Stop. Think. Give. on its social media accounts in real time to boost the event’s visibility and hopefully spur donations made by consumers who see the photos and are interested in finding out more about Save the Children.

Due to the event's proximity to the Academy Awards Feb. 22, Bulgari will likely remain a topic of discussion as consumers are on the look out for red carpet recaps.
