German automaker Audi is the luxury automotive sponsor of Greenwich Polo Club’s East Coast Open, one of the United States' most prestigious polo competitions.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet polo stars and participate in various activities at a number of unique Audi-supported hospitality events. The sponsorship further cements Audi’s ongoing association with and support for polo.

The East Coast Open is one of America’s biggest polo events. In addition to attracting the world’s best polo players, it is attended by nearly 10,000 fans and will be viewed by many more on a ChukkerTV.com live-stream and NBC Sports Network’s broadcast of the championship final on Sept. 13.

Audi will present the opening ball toss, guide teams to center field and transport teams to the trophy wagon for the closing ceremony from from its new 2015 RS 5. Other Audi vehicles, including the 2015 R8 and RS 7, will be on display throughout the event.

The first 50 guests holding general admission tickets per match who present an Audi key at the automaker's VIP tent will be provided with a branded hospitality experience.
Audi has supported numerous polo events both in America and abroad. Last year, Audi, was one among a number of luxury brands that came together for the Coronation Cup in Egham, Britain, at the Guards Polo Club.
The Audi-sponsored British team faced off against the Equus & Co. Argentina club. As with the East Coast Open this year, attendees were able to mingle and enjoy a host of activities surrounding the contest throughout the day (see story).

By returning repeatedly to sponsor polo events, Audi may be able to generate loyal new customers.
