Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London is teaming with retailer Harrods for the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show in May.

The overnight package encourages guests to visit London this spring to see the floral decorations at the hotel and Harrods as well as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show’s The Fragrance Garden. The experience of the flower show extends further than the exhibit to create an immersive weekend for Mandarin Oriental guests.

Floral stays
The overnight package offers an English breakfast for two before the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, a private ride on the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park rickshaw to and from the show, a complementary fragrance from the Harrods Salon de Parfums and floral themed afternoon tea at The Rosebery.

Both Fortnum & Mason and Harrods are participating in the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London to create an immersive branded experience outside of the store.

Harrods will be hosting a conceptual Fragrance Garden, while Fortnum & Mason will be serving guests Champagne, canapés and afternoon tea from two different outdoor eating areas. Despite the event being months away, both retailers are already drumming up interest among their consumers to ensure ample traffic once the show begins (see story).

The “On The Fringe” package is available from May 18-24 and the Floral Afternoon Tea will be available at The Rosebery the entire month.
