Swedish camera brand Hasselblad Bron is offering a 14-day expedition to Southeast Asia.

The photographic tour will be led by Hanoi-based photographer Tim Gerard Barker and will offer an array of Hasselblad cameras for the guests. This exclusive tour will create a close connection among the brand and consumers.

Postcards

Hasselblad Xcursions and Art Photo Expeditions have teamed together to create this trip.

The tour will include instruction by professional photographers and sightseeing expedition with English speaking guides. Spanning 14 days, then tour will host a group of 8-12 individuals and will stay at top hotels across Southeast Asia.

The first location will be Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for two nights.

Vietnam hosts French-inspired architecture and has both old and new vibes to its capital. The photographic opportunities include tree-lined streets and former imperial capitals.

The tour will continue to Laos and the UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang. The town is along the Mekong River.

Next, the trip moves on to Cambodia where guests will go to the highly religious Angkor Wat.

Throughout the entire trip the Hasselblad leaders and Mr. Baker will offer a selection of Hasselblad gear, cameras and lenses. Also, tips, critiques and insights will be offered to help improve each guest’s skills and assist in their photographing of each location on the trip.

The tour is about $11,900 for a double occupancy, $3,885 for a single supplement and flights are estimated around $750.

Private trips are not a new concept for luxury brands.

For example, the private jet operator Intrav targeted ultra-affluent travelers with a bespoke planning service to personalize around-the-world tours.

Each tour accommodated 50 guests for an around-the-world journey in a luxury Boeing jet. Intrav’s inaugural tour was scheduled for April 7-May 1, 2014 and priced at $99,950 per person (see story).
