Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts is honoring this year’s top individuals in film with celebrations at various properties.
Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills will be at the heart of the festivities seeing film industry guests during the awards show, while across the country Four Seasons New York will be hosting its own mini red carpet as Four Season kids make their own films. Joining in on the biggest entertainment event of the year will allow Four Seasons to be associated among revered celebrities.
"Our guests are always looking for one of a kind authentic experiences when traveling to New York City," said Tiffani Cailor, director of public relations for Four Seasons New York, New York. "The Red Carpet Kid Experience is not only fun but encourages participation from the entire family with memories that will last a lifetime. Owners, Craig Saslow and Eva Shure are true geniuses and provide a fun atmosphere with amazing costumes and a selection of film topics to choose from."
And the Oscar goes to
Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills anticipated to host Oscar nominees last weekend with gift bags available from Hollywood Swag Bag. These complimentary bags will offer Olympia USA rolling duffel bags filled with alcohol, food, jewelry, shoes, gift cards and books.
Across the country, Four Seasons New York will host an opportunity for the entire family to make a short film.
Four Seasons partners with Red Carpet Kids
In conjunction with Red Carpet Kids, children and their parents will get to walk the red carpet, answer questions from press and pose for pictures. After their debut their hair and makeup will be completed and a wardrobe change will put them in character.
Next, families will be able to film and star in their own films. The majority of these films are shot in front of a green screen and compiled into a movie.
After a three course meal, families have a private screening of their film and then are treated to a movie night in a Four Seasons suite.
Red Carpet Kids
Four Seasons New York is also hosting an Oscar viewing party for locals and guests to convene in the newly refurbished TY Bar. The bar will host special drinks such as The All American( inspired by American Sniper), Lobby Boy (inspired by The Grand Budapest Hotels), The Great Mind (inspired by The Theory of Everything) and an Oscar Bubbles by the Glass.
Luxury at the Oscars
Other luxury brands were affiliated with the star-studded nights this year.
For instance, Swiss apparel and accessories brand Bally is including consumers in its trip to Los Angeles for the Academy Awards, where its briefcase has a starring role.
On Instagram and a dedicated microsite, consumers can follow as #BallyGoesToHollywood, which include photos documenting the journey of this important briefcase, which is being carried by a mysterious “Mr. B.” Without social media integration, consumers may be unaware of the brand’s appearance during the Oscars (see story).
Also, Italian handbag designer Braccialini was the sponsor of the official talent goodie bags and backstage gift lounge at the Grammy Awards 2015 Feb. 8.
At the event the musicians received the Carinabag, a purse that is designed after a taxicab in looks and production styles. Being present at awards shows allows brands to mix among the top artists, actors and performers in the world (see story).
Engaging children in the brand's initiative will allow parents to include their entire family in on the event.
"The kids have a ball walking the red carpet, shooting the movie and posing for pictures that is all documented in the final seven-minute film," Ms. Calior said.
