Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen is hosting an online-only auction with Christie’s and the Tribeca Film Institute to enable its consumers to partake in the cinema festivities.

The auction winner will also get to attend the “For the Love of Cinema” gala dinner hosted by the brand’s CEO Georges Kern and the festival co-founders Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff. This event will also boast celebrity sightings.

IWC’s festival package for two includes access to all gala premieres, premium screenings, panel discussions and parties. The pair will also be treated to a chef’s table experience at Distilled NY.

Another of the six lots is a private screening for 70 at the Tribeca Film Center.

Film is a popular subject of charitable auctions.

Automaker Aston Martin and watchmaker Omega are among the brands included in Christie’s online auction celebrating the 50th anniversary of James Bond’s “Goldfinger.”

This auction celebrates the 1964 film starring Sean Connery and benefits the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. The inclusion of Omega and Aston Martin will likely attract interest beyond James Bond fans and will spark awareness of the work of the NSPCC (see story).
