New York's Time Warner Center is leveraging its luxury assets for a 10th anniversary celebration package.

The three-day, two-night package explores the luxury atmosphere of Central Park and the Upper West Side with stops at Lincoln Center, Michelin-starred restaurants and many retailers. New York can overwhelm outsiders, so the package may appeal to affluent consumers who want a heavy dose of the city in a highly-curated manner.

"Over the last 10 years, Time Warner Center has provided its guests with a high-end experience all across the board, from highly-acclaimed dining and shopping, to world-known jazz entertainment and accommodations," said Karen Neel, director of marketing for Time Warner Center, New York.

"This exclusive package bundles the best of, what we like to call an 'urban resort' destination, has to offer: unparalleled dining from award-winning chefs, luxurious accommodations, renowned jazz performances and a selection of upscale retailers," she said.

Celebrating the roots

Time Warner has assembled some of the key attractions in the vicinity to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The package is designed for two and starts at $9,925. A maximum of 25 people will be allowed to attend.

The trip would not be a true luxury experience without some shopping thrown into the mix. Time Warner Center houses numerous shops that consumers will appreciate including Stuart Weitzman, Hugo Boss and Thomas Pink.

Personal shoppers will accompany guests interested in the shopping facet.

Stuffed with adventure

Luxury consumers have many elaborate packages to choose from these days.

Dorchester Collection targeted adventurous travelers with an educational 12-night, four-country journey that traced the paths of 18th-century aristocrats.

“The Ultimate Grand Tour” brought guests to five Dorchester properties via boat, train, limousine, classic car and helicopter. Binding the five itineraries to a single theme created a sense of cohesion that other multi-country trips lack (see story).

Four Seasons is shoring up autonomy during its global travel programs by introducing a branded 52-passenger jet.

The retrofitted Boeing 757 will begin flying passengers of bespoke journeys in February 2015. Many of the hotel chain’s journeys bring guests to a new country every other day, so being able to further curate a significant portion of the experience will reduce the chance for mishaps and increase the chance for branded connections (see story).
