The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is teaming with Dior to offer guests a package for the holiday season.

Guests who book their room with Mandarin Oriental's Web site and take the best available rate option will receive a Dior package during their stay. When two luxury brands partner, they are likely to reach similar consumers and establish a relationship with one another, with the consumers redeeming the benefits of the collaboration.

Special treats

The Mandarin Oriental is situated on top of The Landmark shopping mall, which houses a Dior store.

When guests book their room on the Mandarian Oriental Web site, there is an option to click the best available room, if selected, the guest will receive the Dior package.

This package includes a Dior Capture Gift Pack, an invitation to the Harvey Nichols Dior beauty counter and a choice between a Dior hand massage or makeover.

Mandarin Oriental's package with Dior will run through Dec. 31.

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental had previously done collaborations with other luxury brands.

For example, the hotel collaborated with Jimmy Choo to offer a hotel package and afternoon tea that is inspired by the footwear label’s spring/summer 2013 collection.

The on-property MO Bar hosted the Jimmy Choo afternoon tea April 2-May 5 that included edible miniature high heels. In addition, the hotel offered the Jimmy Choo L900 package April 2-7 that included the tea and a pair of shoes from the footwear brand’s 24:7 collection (see story).
