Piaget sponsors International Polo Club event

Richemont-owned Piaget is the title sponsor of the 26-goal USPA Gold Cup in Palm Beach, FL March 8-22.

Piaget has been principal partner for the winter polo season at the International Polo Club since 2007. As the brand returns to the title sponsor, it will host several events to interact with the affluent fans of the polo match.

Sunday outing
The tournament will run on three consecutive Sundays in March. Each day will start with a kick-off Sunday brunch, the trophy arrival and then the match will begin. At halftime a divot stomp will take place and the trophy presentation will end the event.

The three-week tournament will feature some of the best players in the sport with 10, 26-goal teams competing with four, 10 goal-rate players.

Piaget has previously looked to connect with affluent polo enthusiasts through visual and branded touchpoints at the third annual Piaget Hamptons Cup on August 10.

The jeweler extended its sponsorship role and charitable involvement during the event by incorporating its codes throughout the event beyond the typical scoreboard and banner. By working in its codes, such as the Yves Piaget Rose, attendees will leave the event with a lasting impression brought on by the atmosphere established by Piaget (see story).
