British department store Fortnum & Mason is offering consumers some relief on Boxing Day with its Lodge.
The Lodge offers guests an in-store place to eat, drink and relax with friends and family. Creating a space for consumers to relax and enjoy their shopping experience will likely create a deeper relationship between Fortnum & Mason and those consumers looking for a little reprieve this holiday season.
Holiday cheers
During the day the Lodge hosts a family-friendly atmosphere with a selection of meals, snacks. These options include Fortnum’s famous Welsh Rarebit, tarts and teas. Also, Fortnum & Mason’s honey is featured in different items.
Hot chocolate at the Lodge
At night, the Lodge transforms into a bar serving different arrays of vermouths, schnapps, cocktails and Champagnes. Spiked hot chocolate and mulled cider with sweet and savory fondues.
On Fortnum & Mason’s social sites the Lodge was promoted by asking consumers “In need of #BoxingDay indulgence?” The hashtag will also likely help direct gain attention to the Lodge from local shoppers who are active on social media.
